Radar Ear
This superhu-mom power enables mothers to pick up sound over vast distances. When it is used on you, Radar Ear works in a particular devilish way: it can actually decide what to pick up and what not to. It picks up everything you do not want your mother to hear, and it cuts out anything you do want her to hear.
For example, your mother's Radar Ear will always pick up the following words and phrases:
- "@@#**!!" (That is, any word that is at all rude.)
- "No, of course my mother won't mind if I spend overnight at you house."
- "Can I have a new set of acrylic paints, please?"
- "Can we go to a white beach this summer?"
This is another very common superhu-mom power. It enables your mother to actually see through things. For example, to anyone else, your bed looks like tidy and neat. But a mother with Gamma-Ray Eye, would see unwashed socks, can of Coke, and candy plastics behind/underneath your bed.
Laser Tongue
Sharp, cutting and deadly - that is what a mother's Laser Tongue is. It enables mothers to come out with really devastating comments.
For example:
Mom: "Why are you with him again? Didn't I tell you to get rid of that boy?!"
Girl: "We are in school project, mom."
Mom: "Why are you answering me, heretic?! You're such an indolent daughter!"
They're like emotional torture.
Athlete's Leg
Mothers with this superhu-mom power are fast. They are most likely to catch up on you if you are running on a date. The really clever thing, though, is that they do not look fast. That is why it is so easy to be taken by surprise. It is all to do with clothes. On top you mother might be wearing a skirt, a lacy blouse and step-ins. But underneath she will be wearing something like an athlete's get up, with tights, rubber shoes and knee pads.
But sometimes mothers could shift from being painfully strict superhu-moms to just cool and easy mothers. Those were the time when they talk about Harry Potter with you, or asks about the previous Grey's Anatomy episode, or give compliments about a pair of fancy bracelets you're wearing.
How's that? They are amazing, aren't they?
